Hillsborough Man Charged With Burglary Spree In Montgomery

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A Hillsborough man was arrested for burglarizing four Montgomery homes in recent weeks.

Thomas P. Gall Jr., 25, of River Road, in the Belle Mead section of Hillsborough Township, was arrested on Jan. 25 at his home after a search of his car and home found proceeds from the burglary spree, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said.

Between Jan. 22 and Jan. 24, four Montgomery residents reported that their homes were burglarized and items were stolen.

Gall was found to be responsible for the burglaries following an investigation by detectives from the Montgomery Township Police Department with the assistance of the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Burglary Task Force.

Gall was charged with two counts of third degree burglary. Additional charges are to be filed against Gall.

After processing at Montgomery Police headquarters, he was lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.
