Hillsborough Man Charged With Possessing, Distributing Child Porn
Gary J. Babey, 60, of Hillsborough, is accused of sending numerous images of child sexual abuse material to another person.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A Hillsborough man accused of sharing and having child pornography has been charged, Acting Somerset County Prosecutor Annmarie Taggart said.
Gary J. Babey, 60, of Haverford Court, Hillsborough, is charged with second-degree distribution of child pornography and third-degree possession of child pornography, said Taggart.
Babey's arrest came after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) notified the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office of an apparent upload of images of child pornography.

An investigation by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Special Investigations/Computer Crimes Unit found that Babey was suspected of sending numerous images of child sexual abuse material to another person, according to authorities.
On Monday, Babey was arrested at the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office. He is being held in the Somerset County Jail where he will remain pending a detention hearing in this matter.
