Hillsborough Man Wanted On Drug Charges

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A Hillsborough man has been named as Somerset County Prosecutor's Office's Fugitive of the Week.

William Torres of Farm Road in Hillsborough is described as a white man, 5 foot .08 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Torres is wanted on a warrant issued on Aug. 13 for violation of probation for the original charge of third-degree possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS).

Anyone with information pertaining to the whereabouts of Torres should contact the Somerset County Communications Center at 908-526-2500 and ask for the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office on-call Fugitive Supervisor or make an anonymous report via the STOPit app.

Information can also be provided through the Somerset County Crime Stoppers’ Tip Line at 1-888-577-TIPS (8477). All anonymous STOPit reports and Crime Stopper tips will be kept confidential.
