Hillsborough Mom Launches Nanny Service With Celebrity Clients

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A Hillsborough mother of four, author and professional nanny is no stranger to the stars. Amanda Doman launched "The Nanny House " two months ago offering date night, personal assistance, home organization, moments captured, and a traveling nanny service to professional athletes' families.

Doman began working with children when she was in high school and then received her bachelor’s degree in psychology. She went on to work in the school system as a teacher’s aide where she has extensive experience working with at-risk youth, children who are disable and diagnosed with autism.

Doman is also the author of the children’s book “I Am The ABC’s,” which is available on Amazon or Barnes and Noble.

Her business kicked off when she began to nanny for the family of a New York Jets football player. She worked with the family during the football season and even traveled with them on vacations to watch the children. While at home she provides organizing, household management, and newborn baby services.

At home services also include prepping food, giving baths, putting kids to bed, packing and unpacking and more.

"I already had a passion for children and really enjoyed all that I did within someone’s home," Doman said. "That’s what compelled me to start my business. And a couple of months ago I got my LLC for The Nanny House."

Doman’s business has since taken off through word of mouth from pro-athletes families. She has since worked for families who have parents playing for the New York Giants, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints and more.

Most recently she went with a family to Puerto Rico to help watch the children on vacation.

Doman works with families with children from infants on up. She works all over New Jersey but primarily in Chatham, Morristown, Madison and Florham Park. She will also serve her hometown of Hillsborough.

"This is something I thoroughly enjoy and I love children," Doman said.
