Hillsborough Opens Charging Station, Cooling Center For Residents
Residents who still do not have power are invited to the Hillsborough Municipal Building if they need to charge a phone or want to cool off.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough is inviting residents, who do not have power, to the municipal building if they need to charge a phone or want to cool off.
Hillsborough Municipal Building is located at 379 S Branch Rd. and is open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. for those residents who have lost power.
As of Wednesday morning, more than 28,000 Somerset County residents and 1,300 Hillsborough residents remain without power following Tropical Storm Isaias. Temperatures are expected to hit a high of 88 on Wednesday and a low of 66 in the evening, according to the National Weather Service.
