Hillsborough Pedestrian Hit By Passing Van, Airlifted To Hospital
Gaspar Madrazo Jr., 58, of Hillsborough got out of his truck to look at damage from a crash when he was hit by a passing van: Police.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A man was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a van in Hillsborough Tuesday morning, authorities said.
At around 7 a.m., Gaspar Madrazo Jr., 58, of Hillsborough was driving a Ford pickup when he was involved in a minor side swipe crash with a Toyota Highlander on Amwell Road, Hillsborough Police said.
When Madrazo Jr. got out of his truck to check the damage he was hit by Gregory Gillette, 54, of Hillsborough who was driving a Honda Odyssey east on Amwell Road, police said.

Madrazo Jr. was flown to Robert Wood Johnson New Brunswick by the New Jersey State Police Medivac helicopter in serious condition. Robert Wood Johnson Rescue Squad/MICU also responded to the scene.
