Hillsborough Police Crack Down On Drunk Drivers For St. Patrick's Day Weekend
Breaking: Happy St. Patrick's Day! Celebrate this weekend and be safe and responsible.
SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — Happy St. Patrick's Day! If you are heading out to celebrate today or this weekend, be on alert that police departments across Somerset and Hunterdon counties will be cracking down on drunk drivers, according to the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office.
The following towns in Somerset and Hunterdon Counties will be increasing DUI patrols this weekend:
- Bernards
- Bound Brook
- Branchburg
- Bridgewater
- Town of Clinton
- Far Hills
- Flemington
- Franklin – Somerset County
- Frenchtown
- Green Brook
- Hillsborough
- Manville
- Montgomery
- Peapack and Gladstone
- Somerville
- Warren
- Watchung
- West Amwell
- Somerset County Sheriff’s Office

- Drunk driving fatalities (.08 BAC or higher): 111 representing 20% of all total traffic deaths, a 31.1% decrease from last year.
