Hillsborough Police Host Blanket Drive

Hillsborough Police are collecting clean, gently used, solid-color sheets and blankets to keep in patrol cars for use in emergencies.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Police are collecting clean, gently used, solid-color sheets and blankets to keep in patrol cars for use in emergencies.

"There are certain instances where members of our patrol squad use sheets or blankets," said Chief Mike McMahon. "This blanket drive will help to ensure there are always blankets in our patrol cars should a need arise."

The blanket drive will begin the week of May 24 and conclude on June 3. Bins will be placed in the front lobby of the Municipal Building and also at the rear of the building outside the Police Department.
