Hillsborough Police Host Christmas Movie Toy Drive

The Grinch and Christmas Vacation will be shown at the Hillsborough Cinemas in exchange for a toy donation to support foster children.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The Hillsborough PBA 205 and Hillsborough Cinemas are hosting the 3rd Annual Christmas Movie Toy Drive on Saturday, Dec. 2 to support foster children and their families.

Films will be shown at the Hillsborough Cinemas at 111 Raider Blvd. at 5 p.m.

The featured films are The Grinch (2018) and Christmas Vacation, and the price of admission is one new toy per guest.

The Grinch will be available in two theatres, and Christmas Vacation will be in one. There is limited seating. RSVP on the Evite link (https://buff.ly/40OvUn4) or QR code shown on the flyer below.

From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., complimentary pictures with Santa will be provided by Memories with Mae Photography. Starbucks will be providing complimentary hot chocolate from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will also be complimentary cookies.

The Hillsborough Cinemas will have food available for purchase at the concession stand.

For those who cannot attend but would still like to donate toys, gift cards, etc. to this event, a toy bin is located in the Hillsborough Township Police Department lobby.

During this event, the police are also fundraising for the Eick Family. If you do not know who the Eick Family is read their story here - Hillsborough 5-Year-Old And Dad Both Battling Brain Cancer Together.

Both the five-year-old daughter and the father Ed are currently fighting a rare genetic form of brain cancer. Feel free to donate to the GoFundMe or bring your donation to the movie night.
