Hillsborough Police To Host National Night Out 2023

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Township Police Department is hosting its National Night Out for 2023 on Tuesday, Aug. 1.

The event will be held at Mountainview Park at 141 Mountainview Road in Hillsborough from 6 to 8 p.m.

The event will include police and emergency services displays and demonstrations, games and activities including kickball with police and a dunk tank.

Community partners will also be present. Snacks and refreshments, and handouts and souvenirs will be available.

National Night Out, a yearlong community building campaign, is designed to:

  • heighten crime prevention awareness generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs
  • strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships
  • send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back

This is a night for America to stand together and promote awareness, safety, and neighborhood unity. National Night Out showcases the vital importance of police-community partnership and citizen involvement in our fight for a safer nation. NNO invites neighborhoods nationwide to “give crime a going away party."
