Why are you seeking election to the Township Committee?
I am running for the Hillsborough Township Committee to ensure the town remains a stable, thriving community where local families can plant deep roots. As a mother of three school-aged children, I am deeply invested in Hillsborough’s future. I am a U.S. Army veteran and professional engineer, who has devoted countless hours to volunteering in our local schools and youth organizations. I have a unique combination of discipline, precision and problem-solving skills that I will utilize to ensure that Township Committee decisions are smart, community-focused and lead Hillsborough into a future that benefits all residents and businesses.
What issues do you feel need to be tackled in the Township?
The core issues facing our township come down to three things: affordability, accountability, and quality of life.
First, we must reduce the burden of local taxes by eliminating wasteful spending so that more hard-earned money stays in the pockets of local families.
Second, we must manage local growth responsibly through smart, deliberate, and community-driven planning.
Third, we must strengthen our partnership with Hillsborough Township Public Schools to ensure that every child in our system receives a quality education and that we are collaborating when possible to keep costs low.
Lastly, we must ensure our neighborhoods remain safe by supporting our first responders and actively working with our county and state partners to secure outside resources that benefit our township and reduce the burden on local taxpayers.
Our residents deserve a township that is transparent, responsible, and working every day to improve their lives. That is the standard I am committed to upholding.
Is there anything you would like to share about yourself or your campaign?
I look forward to engaging with Hillsborough residents directly by listening to their concerns, hearing their ideas, and having honest conversations about how we can make Hillsborough an even better place to live, raise a family, and own a business.
Affordability will be my top priority. Working alongside Committeewoman Samantha Hand and Committeewoman Jill Gomez, I am confident we have the commitment and the collective will to deliver real results for our residents.
Hillsborough's best days are ahead, and I am ready to get to work.
