Hillsborough Republicans Unanimously Endorse John Ciccarelli

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The Hillsborough Township Republican Committee has unanimously endorsed and selected John J. Ciccarelli to run in the Republican primary this June.

Ciccarelli, who has lived in Hillsborough since 1999, is running for the Hillsborough Township Committee.

Ciccarelli has served on the Hillsborough Planning Board since 2020 and brings an understanding of government and private sector experience with his background in engineering, construction, and business.

"Hillsborough Township is lucky to have so many great candidates step forward to represent Hillsborough," said Hillsborough Republican Chairman and Former Hillsborough Mayor and County Freeholder Ken Scherer. "John’s business background and engineering capabilities will allow him to seamlessly transition to the township committee."

As a resident of Hillsborough, Ciccarelli resides with his wife Kim Demko, who is a lifelong resident of Hillsborough. Together they have raised two daughters who went through the Hillsborough Township School District with Sydney working as a Park Ranger in Utah and Alexa attending Coastal Carolina University.

Ciccarelli works as a Director in the Construction Advisory Services group at J.S. Held and has more than 30 years of experience performing expert dispute resolution consulting and project advisory services for clients in the engineering and construction industries globally. Ciccarelli is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, is a licensed Professional Engineer, and also has an M.B.A. with a Real Estate Concentration from Rutgers University.
