Hillsborough Schools To Close June 2 For Snow Day Give-Back, Primary Election

Normal schedules will resume Wednesday, June 3, after a districtwide closure tied to the primary election and snow days.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — All Hillsborough schools will be closed on Tuesday, June 2, for two reasons.

One reason is an unused snow day.

"Because we did not exceed our weather-related emergency days this past winter, we are utilizing a 'give-back' day," according to the district.

The second reason is Primary Election Day.

"Several of our school facilities will be serving as official polling locations. Closing schools ensures the safety of our students and provides easy access for community members to cast their votes," according to the district.
