Hillsborough Schools Have No More Snow Days

With an impending snow storm looming, the Hillsborough School District announced they have used all of their snow days for this year.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — With the impending snowstorm looming over the township, the Hillsborough Township School District has announced that all of snow days that were built into the 2017-2018 school calendar have been exhausted.

The district used the remaining days during the last storm, as of March 8, the district said.

As a result, all schools will now be open and in session for a half-day on Thursday, April 26. This half-day session will be followed by a half-day in-service for teachers and staff. To view the half-day session dismissal time for each school, click here.

As many as 18 inches of heavy, wet snow could fall, creating the potential for power outages across the state beginning Tuesday night. (See Related: NJ Weather: Winter Storm Warning, 18" Nor'easter Snow Forecast)
