Hillsborough Special Election Thursday For Fire Equipment
Breaking: An election is being held Thursday for the purchase of a pumper tanker truck, fire safety vehicles, rescue boats and more.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Township is hosting a special election Thursday for residents to vote on the purchase of fire department equipment for District 1.
The election is being held from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Hillsborough Municipal Complex, 379 South Branch Road to secure voter approval for the purchase of a pumper tanker truck, a pumper truck, fire safety vehicles, rescue boats and firefighter turn out gear.
Voters will either approve or disapprove of the proposed capital projects and determine the amount of monies to be expended concerning the projects.
