Hillsborough Teen Killed In Train Crash: Authorities
A local teen was killed in a train crash.

A 19-year-old Hillsborough woman was struck and killed by a NJ Transit train on Tuesday, according to NJ Transit.
Yairina P. Quiros was struck by on railroad tracks in the Bound Brook area around 11 p.m. after the train departed New York Penn Station, according to NJ Transit. No injuries were reported aboard the train that was carrying about 100 people, authorities said.

Train service was suspended for about an hour.
Quiros was a promising student at the Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School's alternative program Technical Occupational Preparation for Success, according to nj.com.

Friends were shocked by her death and took time on social media to remember her for filling their days "with laughter and happiness."
