Hillsborough Venue Hall Gets $150K Face-Lift

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The former Polish Falcons of America Club in Hillsborough has undergone a $150,000 face-lift.

Reopening under the new name, Falcon’s Nest, the renovation included new paint inside and outside, new wood flooring, renovated bar, modernized light fixtures, new landscaping, new sidewalks and a renovated women’s bathroom.

“The facility used to look like you were walking into the 1970s when you walked in,” said Martin Brown, the new manager of the Falcon’s Nest. “It just needed a little bit of love. It’s a nice size and location. We just brought it back into the 21st century.”

The facility is open for anyone to rent out for parties such as weddings, anniversaries, baby showers, bar mitzahs, communions and more.

There are three rooms in the building including the Hillsborough Hall which holds 300 people; the Hillsborough Board Room which holds 105 people and the Hillsborough Tavern which holds 80 people.

Located at 140 Falcons Road off of Route 206, the facility has a full liquor license and can serve food as well.

“One of the things that was important in our rebranding was to appeal to our community members with Polish roots and also appeal to the rest of the community,” Brown said. “There are not many facilities that can accomodate the amount of people we can while also having a full liquor license.”

An open house of the Falcon’s Nest will be held on Wednesday where anyone can come by to check out the new look. There will be free food, drinks and entertainment from 7 to 9 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. there will be a ribbon cutting with township officials.
