Hillsborough: Why The Additional Class Sections?
Wood Fern Elementary School and Amsterdam School both received additions to their class sections for this upcoming school year.
Not only will Wood Fern Elementary School will see the addition of a second grade class, but about a week before school started, it was announced that Amsterdam School would receive a fifth third grade class section.
Why the additions?
The school district wants to take the number of students per classroom down from 26 to 22, according to the Hillsborough Beacon.
