Hillsborough Woman Arrested For DWI In Montgomery
Montgomery Police made multiple arrests for marijuana possession and driving while intoxicated including the arrest of a Hillsborough local.

MONTGOMERY, NJ — A Hillsborough local was arrested for driving while intoxicated recently in Montgomery, police report.
On Aug. 10 at 2:19 a.m., Officers Chris Parlow and John Colucci stopped a car driven by Leigh Decicco, 34, of Hillsborough for a motor vehicle violation on Route 206 near Orchard Road.
During the course of the stop, officers determined that Decicco had consumed alcoholic beverages prior to operating the vehicle. Decicco failed roadside field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest, police report.

She was transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for processing. Decicco was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain a lane. She was released to an acquaintance and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.

On July 25 at 1:59 p.m.: Montgomery Police responded to the intersection of River Road (County Route 533) and the Griggstown Causeway for a motor vehicle crash. Brianna Dimenno, 19, of South Plainfield was operating a Nissan Maxima south on River Road when her vehicle impacted the rear of a Dodge Ram operated by Paul Goss, 52, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who was stopped in traffic on River Road. There were no injuries reported and Dimenno’s vehicle was towed as a result of the collision. Dimenno was issued a motor vehicle summons for careless driving and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Township Municipal Court at a later date.
On July 28, at 6:33 p.m.: Montgomery Police responded to the Tigers Tale restaurant on Route 206 for the report of two intoxicated patrons. Police made contact with Donna Holland-O’Rourke, 55, of Belle Mead and William O’Rourke, 55, of Belle Mead. William O’Rourke was intoxicated and determined to have an outstanding warrant out of Montgomery Township for $1,464. He was subsequently placed under arrest on the warrant. O’Rourke was unable to post bail and was lodged in the Somerset County Jail. Donna Holland-O’Rourke was provided transportation to her residence.
On June 30 at 3:38 p.m.: Montgomery Police stopped a Hyundai operated by Taron Lanier, 28, of Irvington after his vehicle was observed speeding on Harlingen Road and his front seat passenger was observed not wearing his seat belt. During the stop the front seat passenger was identified as Lamar Leverett, 29, of Elizabeth. Leverett was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest from Roselle Police Department for $416. He was placed under arrest and transported to Montgomery Police Department for processing. Leverett was unable to post bail and Roselle released him pending a future court date. Leverett was issued a motor vehicle summons for failure to wear a seat belt and released. Lanier was issued a summons for failing to produce an insurance card and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.
On Aug. 1: Officers Chris Parlow and Ryan Gray arrested Dedrian Perkins, 41, of Belle Mead for active warrants from multiple agencies. Officers encountered Perkins near his residence and determined that Perkins had an active warrant for nonpayment of child support from Middlesex County Court. Perkins also had active warrants from Montgomery Township Municipal Court and North Brunswick Municipal Court. Perkins was arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing. He was later lodged in the Somerset County Jail in default of bail.
On Aug. 2 at 11:12 a.m.: Montgomery Police stopped Stanwood Charles, 21, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on River Road after observing his vehicle speeding on Route 206. During the stop Police detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the interior of the vehicle. Charles stated to police that he had a small amount of marijuana contained in his wallet inside the vehicle. Police recovered marijuana from the vehicle and Charles was placed under arrest. Charles was processed at Montgomery Police headquarters and issued complaint summons for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia (grinder) and motor vehicle summonses for speeding and possession of controlled dangerous substance in motor vehicle. He was released pending a future court date in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.
On Aug. 4 at 8:19 p.m.: Officer Ryan Gray stopped a car driven by Donanmari Dail, 58, of Rockaway on County Route 601 near Dutchtown-Harlingen Road for a motor vehicle violation. During the course of the investigation, Officer Gray determined that Dail was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Dail was arrested and transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for processing. Dail was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, improper display of a license plate and unapproved equipment. She was released and has a court appearance scheduled in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.
On Aug, 4 at 10:04 p.m.: Officer Troy Sudeck stopped a car driven by Kahlil Howard, 22, of Trenton on Cherry Valley Road for a motor vehicle violation. During the course of the stop, Officer Sudeck determined that Howard had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from Princeton Municipal Court for $186. Howard was arrested and transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for processing. Howard was issued a motor vehicle citation for maintenance of lamps and released after posting bail.
On Aug. 6 at 1:27 a.m.: Officers Chris Parlow and John Colucci stopped a car on Route 206 driven by Christopher Todd, 34, of Skillman for a motor vehicle violation. During the course of the stop, Officers Parlow and Colucci determined that Todd had consumed alcoholic beverages prior to operating the vehicle. Todd was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. Officers also determined that Todd was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Todd was transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for processing. Todd was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, driving while intoxicated, speeding and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. He was released and has a court appearance scheduled in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.
On Aug. 6 at 7:03 p.m.: Montgomery Police, Montgomery Fire Companies 1 and 2, and Montgomery EMS responded to a residence on Autumn Lane for a fire alarm activation. A resident of one of the apartments in the building was cooking when the oil in the pan ignited causing a small fire. The sprinkler system in the apartment was activated and the fire suppression system extinguished the fire, and the resident was able to safely exit the apartment. As a result, the apartment and several surrounding apartments sustained water damage. Montgomery Township Fire Inspectors were contacted and responded to assist with the investigation. Because of the activation of the fire suppression system, the residents of the building were evacuated. Montgomery Township Office of Emergency Management responded and assisted the displaced residents with shelter until the fire suppression system could be restored.
On Aug. 9 at 12:15 a.m.: Montgomery Police stopped a Honda Accord operated by Kathryn Valis-Hale, 20, of Manville after observing her make an illegal turn off Route 206 onto Orchard Road. During the stop police detected the odor of marijuana coming from the interior of the vehicle. The front seat passenger, Walter Paiz Jr., 21, of Bound Brook admitted that he had smoked marijuana in the vehicle and possessed a small quantity of marijuana. A search of the vehicle yielded marijuana and Paiz was placed under arrest. He was transported to Montgomery Police Department for processing and served a summons for possession of marijuana under 50 grams. Paiz was released and has a court appearance scheduled in Montgomery Township Municipal Court. Valis-Hale was issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to observe a traffic control signal and driving while suspended and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.
On Aug. 9 at 10:51 p.m.: Officers Chris Parlow and John Colucci stopped a car driven by Creasen Naicker, 24, of Hillsborough after a random license plate inquiry revealed the vehicle’s registration was suspended and there was a warrant for Naicker from Hillsborough Municipal Court. Naicker was subsequently arrested and transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for processing. Naicker posted bail and was released with a motor vehicle summons for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. He is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.
On Aug. 11 at 12:49 a.m.: Officers Chris Parlow and John Colucci stopped a car driven by Dale Desantis, 18, of Belle Mead for a motor vehicle violation. During the course of the stop, officers determined that Desantis was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance and a passenger in his vehicle, Christian Williams, 18, of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were arrested and transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for processing. Desantis was charged with possession of CDS, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, disregard of a stop sign and maintenance of lamps. Williams was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Both are scheduled to appear in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.
On Aug. 13 at 3:27 p.m.: Yarin Darshan, 25, of New Brunswick was stopped on Route 206 for circumventing a traffic control device. During the stop Darshan was found to have an active arrest warrant for $295 from Neptune City. Darshan was placed under arrest and transported to Montgomery Police headquarters for processing. Darshan was issued a motor vehicle summons for circumventing a traffic control device and he posted bail and was released. Darshan is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.
