Hillsborough Woman Charged With Shoplifting In Bridgewater

Bridgewater Police reported making 8 arrests for shoplifting and 3 for driving while intoxicated recently.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Hillsborough resident was among eight to be charged with shoplifting in the Bridgewater recently, police say.

On Sept. 19 at 4:04 p.m.: Angela Wu, 31, of Hillsborough was arrested for shoplifting merchandise from Target at the Bridgewater Promenade. Wu shoplifted clothing valued at $418. She was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 15 at 3:10 p.m.: Lavon J. Eggleston-Spann, 23, of Plainfield was arrested for shoplifting merchandise from Target at the Bridgewater Promenade. Eggleston-Spann shoplifted men’s clothing valued at $149.90. He was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 16: A resident of Nagle Street reported a motor vehicle burglary to her unlocked vehicle. Items taken were clothing, sunglasses and a bank book.

On Sept. 17 at 11:17 a.m.: Priya Patel, 25, of Sayreville was arrested for DWI after being involved in a motor vehicle crash on Route 22 east. Patel was issued summonses for DWI, reckless driving, failure to stop, and failure to maintain lane. She was released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 20 at 2:13 p.m.: Antoinette Delliturri, 57, of Bridgewater was arrested for shoplifting merchandise from Wegmans at the Bridgewater Towne Center. Delliturri shoplifted meats valued at$115. She was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 22 at 10:17 p.m.: Deanna M. Muniz, 51, of Whitehouse Station was arrested for DWI after being involved in a motor vehicle crash on Route 22 west. Muniz was issued summonses for DWI, reckless driving, failure to keep right, and failure to maintain lane. She was released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 23 at 4:48 p.m.: Haley F. Kaiser, 19, of South Bound Brook was arrested for shoplifting merchandise from Target at the Bridgewater Promenade. Kaiser shoplifted cosmetics valued at $92.87. She was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 25 at 2:52 p.m.: Richard Mercurius, 46, of South Bound Brook was arrested for shoplifting at the Home Depot located at the Bridgewater Promenade. Mercurius shoplifted power tools in the amount of $248. He was released with a pending court date.

On Sept. 25 at 8:11 a.m.: Janette Powell, 53, of Washington was stopped for a motor vehicle violations on Route 22 east. During the stop it was determined that Powell was impaired. Powell was arrested for DWI. She was issued the following motor vehicle summonses: DWI, driving while suspended, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, and maintenance of lamps. She was released with a pending court appearance.

On Sep. 25 at 6:09 p.m.: Thomas A. Coddington, 38, of Basking Ridge was arrested for disorderly conduct at the Hyatt House on Route 22. He was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstruction. He was released with a pending court date.

On Sept. 28 at 2:44 p.m.: Charlotte Michaud, 18, of Annandale was arrested for shoplifting merchandise from Zumiez, located inside the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Michaud shoplifted asweatshirt valued at $84. She was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court date.

On Sept. 28 at 6:24 p.m.: Blanca Ibanez, 53, of Bridgewater was arrested for shoplifting merchandise from Target at the Bridgewater Promenade. Ibanez shoplifted Nicorette Gum valued at $122. She was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 28: William Fahey, 61, of Bridgewater was arrested for shoplifting and defiant trespassing stemming from incidents that occurred at Wegmans on Sept. 26 and Sept. 6. He was arrested and processed. He was released with a pending court date.
