Twenty six members of the Hillsborough Youth Wrestling team competed last weekend in Kenilworth at the Golden Bear Open Tournament. The team brought home 15 medals and two more wrestlers had winning records on the day.
Kraig Ravaioli, Jack Morris, Luke Donnadio, Matt Callesano and Cole Psemenecki took home Gold.
Four Boro wrestlers took 2nd place, Jackson Jankowicz, Austin Quandt, Vinny Aboosamara and Kevin Klein.
Third place finishers were Tyler Pirog, Brian Quabek, Jason Roser, Chris Spinelli, Evan Karolewski and AJ Johnson. John Peyton Rhodes and Logan McDermid both went 2 and 1 on their way to 5th place finishes.
The team will go back to league action this weekend with matches at Branchburg (JV in Raritan Valley League) and at home against Union (Varsity in Central Jersey League).
