The Hillsborough Youth Wrestling Varsity and Junior Varsity both saw action in Dual meets the 1st weekend of January. The Varsity team competed in Central Jersey action at home against Union. Through a strong performance they when their 3rd dual meet to start the season by a score of 49-21. The Raiders were led by Pins from Chris Spinelli and Cole Psemenecki. Brett Lockburner and Evan Karolewski also had wins for the Raiders.
The JV team did not fare as well in the team score against a strong Branchburg team. The young Raider team lost a handful of close bouts on their way to a 70-9 loss to move to 1 and 2 for the season. Logan McDermid, Jason Roser and Adam Schebece had the victories for Hillsborough.
