Hillsborough's 2023 Independence Day Celebration Date Announced
The annual family fun day will feature inflatable amusements for children, a food tent, carnival games, and more.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Township's 2023 Family Fun Day and Fireworks will be held on Saturday, June 24, announced Mayor Shawn Lipani at the April 25 Township Committee meeting.
"The annual family fun day is such a great community event to commemorate our Nation’s Birthday. Mark your calendars now and we look forward to seeing you there," said Lipani.
The Independence Day Celebration will feature inflatable amusements for children, a food tent, carnival games, and promotional information from local organizations.

The food tent will include refreshments such as pizza, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, kettle corn, and more. Live music will be provided by "Gypsy," a Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks cover band, and will lead up to the main event, the annual fireworks extravaganza.
Folding chairs and blankets are recommended.

The festivities begin at 5 p.m. at the Auten Road Intermediate School field, located at 281 Auten Road. Complimentary shuttle buses will be available, beginning at 5 p.m., from the Hillsborough High School parking lot. There is no public parking at the event.
The rain date is Sunday, June 25.
