Hillsborough's Animal Food Drive To Help Area Pets
Hillsborough is hosting an animal food drive through Friday, Sept. 20 to support the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough is hosting an animal food drive through Friday, Sept. 20 to support the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter.
Donations are being accepted at the township ShopRite at Route 206 and Amwell Road, Weiss at 315 Route 206 and Municipal Building at 379 S Branch Road.
The shelter's wish list includes:

- Kitten food (Purina ONE)
- Rawhide dog chews
- Canned cat food (Friskies, Fancy Feast, 9 Lives)
- Nylabones
- KMR (Kitten Milk Replacer)
- Puppy food (Purina ONE)
- Kongs cat litter (non-clumping clay litter)
- Kong stuffing small towels
- Dog leashes
- Pet Smart/PetCo/Walmart giftcards
- Cat beds
- Dog collars
Somerset Regional Animal Shelter is located at 100 Commons Way in Bridgewater. For more information call 908-725-0308 or visit srasnj.org. The shelter is open daily from noon to 4 p.m., with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
