Hillsborough's Soccer Player Finishes Final Season With Washington College
Washington College senior back Derek Stiles helped the Shoremen post four shutouts this season.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough native and Washington College senior back Derek Stiles concluded his fourth and final season with the Washington College men’s soccer team.
Serving as a quad-captain, he played in 18 matches for the Shoremen in 2016, starting in all 18.
Stiles, who helped the Shoremen post four shutouts this season, had one assist for one point. He notched his helper in a 4-1 victory over Muhlenberg on Oct. 8.

In 54 career matches, he earned 45 starting assignments.
Stiles was named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the third time. To be named to the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average.
