HSHC Camp Commences As Summer Begins
The Hillsborough Street Hockey Camp, Hillsborough's only hockey program, runs through the summer.
Sophomore Michael Panchery founded the Hillsborough Street Hockey Camp in 2016, which aims to teach new players how to play hockey as well as develop the skills of current players at no cost.
Michael, a student at Hillsborough High School, currently plays ice hockey for the Hillsborough Varsity team as well as at the Midget AA level.
This season, the camp has grown exponentially, more than tripling the size of attendance since its establishment. Most notably, it was sponsored by the New Jersey Devils professional ice hockey team, who donated dozens of brand new equipment for use.
