ID Of Motorcyclist Killed In Somerset Co. Weekend Crash Released

The crash was reported on Sunday night in the area of South Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue.

MANVILLE, NJ - Authorities have released the identity of the motorcyclist who died in a two vehicle crash on Sunday in Manville.

Kevin Duwane Williams, age 47, of Belle Mead was identified as the fatal victim.

On Sept. 15 at around 5:32 p.m., Manville Police Officers were called to the area of South Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue for a report of an accident involving a motor vehicle and a motorcycle, said Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald.

Manville Police officers determined that the motorcyclist had suffered critical injuries from the accident.

The motorcyclist, a 47-year-old male Belle Mead-Griggstown resident, was taken to a local trauma hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries, said McDonald.

Members of the Somerset County Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team along with members of the Manville Police Department are investigating the crash.
