Injured Hiker Rescued At Sourland Mountain
Breaking: The hiker was found Wednesday morning and carried down the trail by first responders at the Sourland Mountain Preserve.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — An injured hiker was rescued Wednesday morning after falling and hurting her ankle in the Sourland Mountain Preserve in Hillsborough, police report.
At 9:36 a.m., Hillsborough Township Police Department along with the Robert Wood Johnson Rescue Squad, the Hillsborough Township Fire Department and Somerset County Park Rangers responded to the Sourland Mountain Preserve located at 421 East Mountain Road on a report of an injured hiker.
The hiker was found and carried down the trail by the first responders. She was then transported to Princeton Medical Center Somerset with no life-threatening injuries.

Responding units included: Hillsborough Township Police Department, Hillsborough Township OEM, Hillsborough Township Fire and Safety, Hillsborough Township Fire Departments 36, 37, and 48, Robert Wood Johnson Rescue Squad and the Somerset County Park Rangers.
