Kardi Is A Spunky Girl Who Needs A Home

SKILLMAN, NJ — It's National Dog Month, and while many folks have four-legged pals to share their homes, Patch is kicking off an effort we hope you'll join: We want to help 1,000 dogs in New Jersey and Pennsylvania find their forever homes.

As part of that effort, we will be highlighting dogs that currently are waiting in shelters for someone to adopt them.

Kardi is one of those dogs. She is at the SAVE Homeless Animals at 1010 Route 601 in Skillman.

Kardi is a 4-month-old German Shepherd Mix and weighs about 16 pounds. He is tri-colored and has been spayed, according to Saint Hubert's.

"Hey guys! My name is Kardi. I came all the way from Tennessee to find my forever family. I am a spunky girl who loves to run around! I need a family who is going to be patient with me and teach me all of my basic commands. I am going to be a large breed dog when I grow up so hopefully my forever family has the room for me. I hope my family comes to get me soon! Okurrrrr!" the shelter description says.
