Letter To The Editor: Assemblyman Ciattarelli Supports Tomson For Mayor

It takes an awful lot of courage and sacrifice to serve as an elected official at the local level. That’s why all candidates are to be congratulated for stepping forward to serve their community.

Here in Hillsborough, we’ve been extremely fortunate to not only have local candidates, but also highly competent and dedicated people serving on the Township Committee. After all, managing a 54-square mile township with 38,000+ people is no small task.

The fact is, there has never been a more challenging time to govern a municipality. That being the case, supporting proven leaders who are independent-minded, honest, and determined to improve the quality of life in Hillsborough is the right choice.

That’s why I ask Hillsborough citizens to vote for Mayor Doug Tomson and Committeewoman Gloria McCauley this Election Day.

Both Doug and Gloria have the availability and energy to commit full-time to our Township. They have proven time and again the quality of their leadership, repeatedly demonstrating the competency requisite to running our Township very effectively.

Simply put, Mayor Doug Tomson and Committeewoman Gloria McCauley deserve to be re-elected. I respectfully request that Hillsborough citizens give serious consideration to joining me in voting for them.
