Letter To The Editor: Resident Supports Mayor Doug Tomson

I am a relatively new Hillsborough resident and wanted to thank Mayor Doug Tomson and the Township Committee for a small act of kindness. Shortly after I moved into my new home, I received a letter from the Mayor and Township Committee welcoming me to Hillsborough and informing me of how I could become involved in my community.

Getting a letter from them informed me of several Hillsborough resources that I may not have come across in any other way. For example, every week I get an email highlighting what events are going on in Hillsborough.

The town also has a great website with information including upcoming meetings, a portal to allow me to pay my taxes online and a complete copy of the master plan of the town.

This November, I will be supporting Mayor Tomson and Committeewoman McCauley because of their efforts to keep the residents of Hillsborough, especially the new ones like me, informed!
