To the editor:
I am a proud 30-year resident of Hillsborough. I have seen our town grow and thrive in my time living in our community. The Republican Party-led township committee continues to make sound strategic and fiscal decisions to improve our township and quality of life. Proof of their efforts include; three consecutive years of reduced municipal tax rates, continued purchasing of open space to limit development, the initiation of the needed roadway infrastructure improvement plan and recognition including:

- NJ Smart Workplace’s Platinum Award
- Sustainable Jersey’s® Silver-Level (the highest certification level)

Shawn Lipani and Ron Skobo have lived in Hillsborough for more than 40 years, are deeply rooted in our community and have selflessly served our township in many ways. Shawn and Ron have the proper skills, vision and passion to serve our community as Hillsborough Township Committee Members for the good of all residents.
