Local Musician Hosts Concert and CD Release Party
Temple Beth El is the site of Eric Komar's release party for his third CD.

It’s a little bit of folk, a little bit of rock and a little bit of jazz, and it’s all by a Hillsborough resident.

The temple's Youth Chorale will also perform some songs with Komar.
“We are really glad that Eric has chosen our temple to host his release party and concert,” Caren Bateman, president, Temple Beth-El, said via release. “He has been a dedicated music teacher in our program for years and it is great that he has incorporated our youth choir to be part of his program. His music really connects with the students and families at our temple. Eric has encouraged our students to develop their artistic talents and share this talent with others.
In addition to his performing career, Komar teaches Jewish music at synagogues, Jewish Community Centers and Hillels throughout the United States and Canada. He teaches both Hebrew and Music at Temple Beth El, leads monthly family Shabbat services at the temple and leads the temple’s Youth Chorale.
