Locals Can Get Rid Of Medications All Year In Hillsborough
The Hillsborough Police Department has a prescription drug drop box to dispose of unused, expired medications anonymously 365 days a year.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Somerset County residents can now dispose of unused and expired medications anonymously, seven days a week, 365 days a year, at "prescription drug drop boxes" located at designated police departments including in Hillsborough.
"For too many New Jerseyans, addiction begins in the medicine cabinet," Somerset County Prosecutor's Office stated.
Each Project Medicine Drop box is installed indoors, affixed to the floor or wall in a secure area within police department headquarters, within view of law enforcement officers, in an area to which the public can dispose of their unused medications.
