Lorraine Soisson To Fill Hillsbrough BOE Vacancy

Former board of education member Dr. Lorraine Soisson was voted to fill the vacant seat that is slated to expire in January 2018.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Dr. Lorraine Soisson was elected by Hillsborough Board of Education members to fill a vacant seat on the board at the July 17 meeting.

The seat expires on expiring on Jan. 7, 2018. Soisson will replace Steven Cohen, who left the board at the June 19 meeting. Cohen served the board from 2015-2017 and his position was up for re-election in November.

Dr. Soisson is no stranger to the Hillsborough Board of Education or the school district, having served the community as a board member from 2012-2015. Prior to becoming a Board of Education member, she volunteered with Hillsborough schools as a member and president of several of the Home and School Associations.
