Luxury Mobile Bar Experience Rolls Into Somerset County
The women-owned, veteran-owned mobile bar business, Park Your Party, is more than a bar but an experience.

MONTGOMERY, NJ — Married couple MaryAnn Post and Lila Madama are taking mobile bars to a whole new level with their luxury indoor-outdoor experience.
The Montgomery Township couple recently launched Park Your Party, a new women-owned, veteran-owned luxury mobile bar that can accommodate about 15 guests inside, along with more outside.
The bar is fully equipped with three beer taps, a four-bottle wine dispenser, two large screen TVs, and a premium sound system.

The idea for the bar had always been a "secret desire" for Madama.
"Way back when I was young, I used to bartend, and I really enjoyed it — the atmosphere, the fun, the getting to see a lot of people, hang out with a lot of people, and I really enjoyed mixing cocktails and things like that," said Madama to Patch. "So I always knew, in the background, I always wanted to own a bar, maybe at some point later in life, I will."

Additionally, Madama's grandmother, Nana Grace, and her great-grandmother, also named Grace, owned a bar in New Brunswick in the 1940s called the West End Tavern.
"I have these photos of them inside our house, and a copy of their liquor license from back then, and I'm like, man, this is so cool," said Madama.
About two years ago, Post left her job working in finance, consulting, and human resources, to be home with their four children.
That's when the couple decided to tap into their dream of owning a bar. But, not just any mobile bar — an elevated mobile experience.
"We wanted to create more than a mobile bar. We wanted to create an experience. A place where people naturally gather, celebrate, and make memories, whether it's a wedding, corporate event, fundraiser, or backyard celebration," said the couple.
Being hands-on, the couple was involved in every step of the process and even had the mobile bar constructed in their driveway.
"Lila is an army veteran, and she drove military vehicles. She also fixed military vehicles. She can build and fix almost anything, and that to me, is an incredible skill set," said Post.
Working together they were able to take their vision and make it a reality. The design was built around a higher-end concept.
"Our goal from day one was to raise the standard. Every design decision was intentional, from the climate-controlled interior and luxury finishes to the technology and entertainment features. We wanted guests to walk in and say, 'I've never seen anything like this before'," said the couple.
They also described the process behind the project.
"One of the biggest challenges was refusing to compromise. We could have built something more simple and much faster, but we stayed committed to creating a premium experience. That extra effort is what makes Park Your Party different," said the couple.
The bar includes:
- Professional Bartending Service
- Dual TVs for sports, slideshows, or custom displays
- 4-bottle wine dispenser
- 5-port liquor dispenser system
- 3-tap beer system for draft service
- Sound system with tablet control
- High-top cocktail tables, standard tables, and seating
- Customizable LED lighting
- Luxury pop-up tent
- Outdoor ambient light & decor
Park Your Party serves weddings, private parties, corporate events, and branded experiences, with flexible options including white-label setups for beverage companies and festivals.
"As a women-owned and veteran-owned business, we're proud to build something unique right here in New Jersey. It's rewarding to see an idea become a reality and to share it with our community," the couple said.
Park Your Party is hosting a ribbon-cutting with Mayor Neena Singh on Sunday at 539 Route 518 in Skillman from 5 to 9 p.m.
"Montgomery has been our home for more than two decades. We've raised our family here, built friendships here, and served our community here. Launching Park Your Party in the town that's given us so much made perfect sense," said the couple.
