Man Collapses, Found Shot Inside Green Brook Store
The man said he drove to the store and told the clerk he had been shot before collapsing on the floor on Saturday, authorities said.
GREEN BROOK, NJ — Authorities are investigating after a man, who was shot, drove to a convenience store in Green Brook before collapsing on Saturday, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said.
On Saturday at around 11 p.m., Green Brook Township Police Officers found a 28-year-old Plainfield man with a gunshot wound, Robertson said.
The man said he drove to the store and told the clerk he had been shot before collapsing on the floor, Robertson said.

The man was taken an area trauma center for treatment. Following emergency surgery, the man is listed in stable condition and is expected to survive.
Detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit along with detectives from the Green Brook Township Police Department are trying to figure out where the shooting happened and motive.
