Marijuana, Syringe Possession, Warrant Arrests Reported In Montgomery
Montgomery Police reported multiple accidents, a marijuana possession arrest and an arrest on warrants.

MONTGOMERY, NJ — Montgomery Police reported multiple accidents, a marijuana possession arrest and an arrest on warrants.
Montgomery Police Blotter:
On Sept. 10 at 2:37 a.m.: Montgomery Police stopped Michelle Miller, 44, of Hopewell on Route 518 in Blawenburg after observing an equipment violation on her vehicle. Miller was unable to produce her license and police determined her driving privileges were suspended in New Jersey and she had multiple active warrants for her arrest. Miller had active warrants from Woodbridge for $1,273, Point Pleasant Boro for $550, Montgomery Township for $400 and Wall Township for $102. She was placed under arrest and transported to Montgomery Police headquarters for processing. Miller was unable to post bail and was turned over to Woodbridge Police Department. She was issued summons for driving while suspended, maintenance of lamps and failure to produce a driver’s license and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Municipal Court at a later date.

On Sept. 9 at 4:20 a.m.: Montgomery Police located a Toyota Camry disabled off Harlingen Road near Devon Drive. The vehicle was stuck in the mud and had front end damage. Police were able to identify the driver as Luqi Chen, 26, of Princeton. Chen reported her vehicle entered a ditch and when she attempted to reenter the roadway her front end struck the edge of the pavement and became disabled. Chen left the vehicle and did not report the crash to police. The vehicle was towed from the scene and Chen was issued summonses for failure to maintain lane, failure to report an accident and leaving the scene of an accident. She is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Municipal Court at a later date.
On Sept. 10 at 4:54 p.m.: Jasmine C. Carr, 26, of Belle Mead was stopped on Rt. 206 for an inspection violation. Officer Chapkowski detected the odor of marijuana inside her vehicle and a further search of the vehicle yielded marijuana and paraphernalia. Carr was placed under arrest and transported to the Montgomery Police Department for processing. Carr was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Carr was also issued motor vehicle summons for failure to inspect and controlled dangerous substance(CDS) in a motor vehicle. Carr was released and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Township Municipal Court

On Aug. 31 at 10:44 p.m.: Darel E. Mcdowell, 24, of Monroe was stopped on Rt. 206 for displaying a fictitious license plate on the vehicle he was operating. Further investigation revealed that Mcdowell had a suspended driver’s license and he was operating the vehicle without the owner’s consent. Mcdowell was also in possession of drug paraphernalia (glass pipe and syringes). Mcdowell was placed under arrest and transported to Montgomery Police Department for processing. Mcdowell was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and also issued motor vehicle summons for fictitious plate, suspended driver’s license, unregistered vehicle, uninsured vehicle, maintenance of lamps and operating/using vehicle without owner consent. Mcdowell is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.
On Aug. 30 at 10:55 a.m.: Montgomery Police responded to the intersection of Route 206 and Route 601 for the report of motor vehicle crash. The police investigation determined Yongmei Tan, 47, of Hopewell was traveling north on Route 206. Tan entered the Rt. 601 intersection against a red signal and was impacted by a Honda CRV that was traveling into the intersection from Route 601 northbound. The Honda was operated by Frederick Kiegel, 57, of Princeton. There were no injuries reported as a result of the collision. Tan was issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to observe a traffic signal and careless driving and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Municipal Court at a later date.
On Aug. 30 at 4:54 p.m.: Montgomery Police responded to the intersection of Route 206 and Route for a motor vehicle collision. The police investigation determined that a Volkswagen operated by Melissa Copt, 43, of Whitehouse Station was traveling north on Route 206. Ian Parise, 22, of Moorestown was exiting the Rocky Hill Shell Gas Station and turning left onto Route 206. Copt entered a no passing zone and struck Parise’s vehicle on the north bound side of the highway. There were no injuries reported and Parise’s vehicle was towed as a result of the damage from the collision. Copt was issued a motor vehicle summons for improper passing and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Municipal Court at a later date.
On Aug. 31 at 12:11 p.m.: Montgomery Police responded to Route 206 in front of the Red Oak Diner for a motor vehicle crash involving four vehicles. William Wild, 65, of Hillsborough stated he was traveling north on Route 206 and impacted the rear of a Chevy Camaro operated by Devin Terry, 22, of Columbus. The impact caused Terry’s vehicle to impact the rear of a Mini Cooper operated by Roberto Celli, 59, of New York, New York. Celli’s vehicle then impacted the rear of an Acura operated by Meghan Morici, 33, of Easton, Pennsylvania. There were no injuries reported and Wild’s vehicle was towed as a result of the damage from the crash. Wild was issued a motor vehicle summons for careless driving and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Municipal Court at a later date.
