Masked Armed Woman From Somerset Co. Charged In Bank Robbery: Police
Ciara Brascom, 37, of Skillman, was identified as a person who robbed a TD Bank in Princeton in late July, said police.

SKILLMAN, NJ — A masked Skillman woman armed with a handgun was robbed a TD Bank in July, Princeton Police said Thursday.
Ciara Brascom, 37, has been charged with robbery, criminal restraint, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, unlawful possession of a weapon, terroristic threats, theft, money laundering and aggravated assault.
On July 28, Princeton Police went to TD Bank on 883 State Road for a panic alarm. Shortly after, a bank teller called 911 to report a robbery in progress.

A woman entered the bank just before 2 p.m., approached the teller counter, and showed a black semi-automatic handgun while handing the teller a note demanding money, police said.
After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the woman fled the scene and was last seen walking south on Route 206 near the Exxon Gas Station at 870 State Road, police said.

An investigation headed by Det. Daniel Chitren led authorities to Brascom.
With help from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Brascom was taken into custody by Chitren and Ptl. Melody Van Ness on Tuesday in Montgomery, police said.
Brascom is currently being held at the Mercer County Correction Center.
