Missing Hillsborough 12-Year-Old Found Safe

Kiersten Hulit was desperately searching for her missing daughter and asking the public for help.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A 12-year-old Hillsborough girl who had gone missing on Wednesday night has been found safe, her mother Kiersten Hulit said on Thursday around 11:20 a.m.

"Thank you everyone who shared, called, and contacted. We could never even begin to express the amount of gratitude we feel for everyone’s support and well wishes," said Hulit.

Jordyn, who is starting Hillsborough Middle School in the fall, was previously last seen on Wednesday night around 9 p.m. at the Hillsborough ShopRite, said Hulit.

She is wearing pink pants and a pink top.

"This is a case of a runaway juvenile that left under her own determination," said Hillsborough Police Chief Mike McMahon.

Hulit was asking the public for help to find Jordyn. Anyone with information on Jordyn can contact Hulit at 908-200-1775.
