Missing Person Found Safe After Helicopter Search In Hillsborough
The helicopter could be heard by residents flying in the area of the township east of Route 206 around 5 p.m. on Sunday.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A helicopter heard flying above Hillsborough on Sunday night was due to a search of a missing person, police said.
"We were searching for a missing person that was not a danger to the public and was found soon after. The helicopter was used as an additional tool," Hillsborough Police Lt. Jim Omert said.
The helicopter could be heard by residents flying in the area of the township east of Route 206 around 5 p.m. on Sunday.
