Montgomery Named Among Top 50 Cities For Fit Lifestyles: BarBend

MONTGOMERY, NJ — Montgomery was named among the top 50 cities for fit lifestyles in 2020 by health and fitness website BarBend.

Montgomery ranked at number 12 of the top 50 in New Jersey with a fit score of 84. Montgomery was also the highest-ranked Somerset County town. Overall, Short Hills took the top spot in New Jersey.

Hillsborough did rank among the top 100 at number 71.

BarBend determined the fittest cities by looking at 11 key metrics based on data collected by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), U.S. Census Bureau and Country Health Rankings & Roadmaps (CHR).
