Montgomery Schools To Conduct Safety, Security Drill Monday
Locals may see emergency vehicles, police cars and staff in the area.

MONTGOMERY, NJ — Montgomery Schools will be conducting a safety and security drill on Monday along with the Montgomery Police Department and other first responders.
This drill is a part of the district's strategic actions that include conducting activities to enhance district safety team and crisis management plans.

"Please note that this is only a drill. In the case of a true emergency, the district will utilize text messaging, email, and phone calls to notify the school community," stated Nancy. H. Gartenberg, Superintendent of Schools. "We regularly suggest that parents review their parent contact information in Parent Resources - Genesis, to ensure that all emergency contact information is up to date."
The district will also use Twitter and Facebook as other means of communicating district information.
