Multiple Bullets Fired At Hillsborough Homes, Police Investigate
Three different township homeowners reported bullets shattering sliding glass doors or the exterior of a home over a span of 3 days.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Multiple gunshots fired at Hillsborough homes are under investigation by authorities to see if they are connected, said police.
On Sept. 3 between 10:15 and 10:45 p.m., the back sliding glass door of a Robin Road residence was hit and shattered by a low-caliber bullet, said Hillsborough Police Sgt. Jack Howard.
That same night within the same time frame, the second-floor exterior of a Brookside Lane residence was also hit by a separate low-caliber bullet, said Howard.

On Sept. 5, at around 8:29 p.m., the back sliding glass door of a Gateway Boulevard residence was hit and shattered by a medium-caliber bullet, said Howard.
There were no reported injuries resulting from any of these shootings.

These shootings are being investigated by police to determine if the acts are connected or random acts of criminal behavior.
