Multiple DWI, Drug Arrests Made In Hillsborough

Hillsborough Police arrested 10 people on charges including driving while intoxicated, drug possession, and theft.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Police arrested 10 people on charges including driving while intoxicated, drug possession, and theft, according to the police blotter.

Hillsborough Police blotter:

On May 28: A 23-year-old Hillsborough man was arrested and charged with theft for removing jewelry totaling $180 from the bedroom of the victim. He was processed and released with a court date.

On May 28: A 30-year-old Trenton man, was arrested and charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop by police on Route 206. He was also issued a summons for open container of alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle. He was released pending a court date.

On May 29: A 41-year-old Hillsborough woman, was arrested and charged with failure to turn over controlled dangerous substance(CDS) to law enforcement and possession of CDS paraphernalia after the vehicle she was in was pulled over by police on Route 206. She was processed and released with a court date.

On June 5: Brieana Bailey, 19, of Raritan, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Roycefield Road. She was also issued summonses for reckless driving, failure to observe a traffic signal, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, careless driving, and failure to produce driver's license. She was released with a court date.

On June 12: A 19-year-old Carteret man, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia after the car he was in was stopped by police on Route 206. He was processed and released with a court date.

On June 24: A 50-year-old Hillsborough man, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after being stopped on Route 206 by police as a result of a motor vehicle complaint. He was also issued a summons for open container of alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle. He was released pending a court date.

On June 24: A 21-year-old New Providence man, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana after being stopped by police on Roycefield Road. He was also charged with possession of CDS in a motor vehicle and speeding. He was processed and released with a court date.

On July 1: A 21-year-old Manville man, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana after he was stopped by police on Route 206. He was also given a summons for Possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. He was then released with a court date.

On July 5: A 22-year-old Edison man, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after being stopped by police on Route 206. He was also issued summonses for careless driving, failure to keep right, maintenance of lamps, failure to slow when approaching stationary emergency vehicle, refusal to submit to a breath test. He was released pending a court date.

On July 5: A 23-year-old Lighthouse Point, Florida woman, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia after the vehicle she was in was stopped by police on Amwell Road. She was processed and released with a court date.
