New GameChanger Fitness Studios Opening In Hillsborough

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — GameChanger Fitness, a New Jersey-based personalized strength training brand, is expanding with two new studio openings this spring.

The brand, founded by local entrepreneur Joe Meglio, will open locations in Montclair and Hillsborough Township.

The Hillsborough Township studio, located at 2 Schindler Ct., will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday at 10 a.m. The Montclair location, at 644 Bloomfield Ave., is preparing to open soon.

Both locations are currently enrolling founding members. Early access, a free first week of training, and $100 off the first month are available for those who join before their respective grand opening celebrations.

Joe Meglio, who played college baseball at Fairleigh Dickinson University, founded GameChanger Fitness more than 12 years ago. He initially trained young athletes before focusing on structured, coach-led strength training for adults, particularly those aged 40 and over.

"We specialize in personalized strength training for busy adults," Meglio said.

He added, "Our members don't want to walk into a gym and guess what to do. They want expert guidance, accountability, and a program built specifically for them."

GameChanger Fitness operates under its "Smarter. Stronger. Longer." philosophy. It provides individualized strength programs within a coached small-group setting. Each location limits membership to around 150 members to ensure individualized attention and progress tracking.

"Our focus is helping adults build strength they can carry into their everyday lives," Meglio stated.

He explained that this includes staying active with family and investing in long-term health.
