New Home, New Name: Duke Farmer's Market Is Moving
Big changes are in store for Duke Farmer's Market, which will be moving after this season.
RARITAN, NJ — Big changes are coming to the Duke Farmer's Market as it will soon have a new home and a new name.
The new popular seasonal farmers market will be moving to Raritan after Borough Council unanimously voted to accept the move.
The market has operated at 1112 Dukes Parkway West, in Hillsborough, for the past 8 years. It will finish out the 2023 season before making the move.

In 2024 the market will be expanding and moving to the former Washington School campus in Raritan under the new name of Somerset County Regional Farmers Market.
"We are very excited to build on the great success Duke Farms has had with the Sunday farmers market and look forward to inviting all of the current vendors to the new Somerset County Regional Farmers Market in 2024," said Nicolas J. Carra, Raritan Borough Council President.

"The farmer’s market has been very popular and we are thrilled to partner with Raritan Borough and Somerset County to continue its growth at a new location in 2024 that is more beneficial to the activities associated with the market," said Margaret Waldock, Executive Director of Duke Farms. "We’re very proud of the farmer’s market and our partnership with 40 vendors and roughly 1,200 weekly shoppers and we’re excited to host one more season at Duke Farms."
The Duke Farms Market season is already underway running every Sunday from May 7 through Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
