Overnight Hillsborough Garage Fire 'Does Not Appear Suspicious'
Hillsborough first responders found the garage fully engulfed in flames and heavy smoke early Thursday morning.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A garage went up in flames early Thursday morning in Hillsborough.
On Jan. 6 at around 12:34 a.m., the Hillsborough Police went to 1123 Millstone River Road for a report of a structure fire.
First responders found the detached garage on the property was fully engulfed in flames and heavy smoke, said Hillsborough Police Corporal Jack Howard.

Firefighters extinguished the fire expeditiously. The detached garage was unoccupied at the time of the fire and there were no injuries sustained, said Howard.
The fire is not considered suspicious but remains under investigation by detectives from the Hillsborough Township Police Department and the Hillsborough Township Bureau of Fire Safety.
