Wind Causes Plane To Overturn At Central Jersey Airport
A single-engine airplane overturned at an airport in Hillsborough on Wednesday afternoon.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — High winds caused a plane to reportedly overturn at the Central Jersey Airport in Hillsborough on Wednesday.
At 11:45 a.m., the single-engine airplane crash was reported at the airport at 1034 Millstone River Rd. in Hillsborough, said Hillsborough Corporal Jay Beverett.
The plane was landing at the airport when it flipped over due to wind conditions, Manville Police Lt. John Crater said.

There were two people inside the plane at the time - Philip McPherson, 32, of Bound Brook was the pilot and Sundaresh Siddiah, 52, of Edison was the passenger, Beverett said.
No injuries were reported to the two people in the plane or anyone on the ground.

Hillsborough Police, Hillsborough Fire Units 37 and 38, Hillsborough Fire Safety, Hillsborough OEM, RWJ Rescue Squad, Somerset County Hazmat, and FAA all went to the scene.
