Pediatric COVID-19 Shot Clinic To Be Held At Hillsborough School

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A pediatric COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be held for Hillsborough children, ages 5 to 11, on Sunday, Nov. 14.

The Hillsborough Health Department, in collaboration with the Greenbrook Family Medicine, is hosting the clinic at Hillsborough High School, 466 Raider Blvd.

To assure adequate supplies for everyone attending registration for the Pediatric Pfizer COVID vaccine is required at: hillsboroughhighpedcovidvax.timetap.com.

At the Clinic:

1. Please bring your child’s insurance card to the clinic if they have insurance. The vaccine is free of charge.
2. A parent/guardian is required to be present with their child.
3. Dr. Frank or Dr. Cook will be available at the clinic to address any COVID vaccine-related questions.
4. In addition, both the Moderna COVID Vaccine/Booster for adults ages 18 and up as well as the Pfizer COVID Vaccine/Booster for ages 12 and up will be available for family members. Pre-registration is not needed for these two vaccines. Please bring your insurance and COVID card to the clinic.

Since Nov. 1, Hillsborough Township Schools have reported 15 positive COVID-19 cases. The schools saw a total of 27 cases in October and 19 in September.

Here is breakdown of the cases in November:

• Hillsborough High School - 4
• Auten Road Intermediate - 5
• Amsterdam Elementary - 3
• Sunnymead Elementary - 1
• Triangle Elementary - 1
• Woodfern Elementary - 1

"Hosting a vaccination clinic does not speak to the board's or district's endorsement of vaccination or vaccination status. That is an individual decision. This is a utilization of a public building in the midst of a public health crisis," said Hillsborough Superintendent Dr. Lisa Antunes.
